31 January 1887 — Paris | |
Monday. 31st [January 1887]. I went off to the dressmaker’s at 11. Dacre came to lunch & then he & I went to the Louvre that I might try to help him to choose some curtains for his new apartment where he is abt to settle with his friend young Frank Hoskier. There was a sale going on & we found it such a bear garden we were glad to get away. Dacre had to leave me to go to the Bourse & I returned to the hotel to rest. Dacre came & dined with us. | |
