6 February 1887 — Paris | |
Sunday. 6th February [1887]. Left Paris at 9.40. Fine day. Splendid passage & reached London at 5.40. Dined with Blanche & Edward. I went to see Mama for a moment. Found her very well & cheerful but her eye which has lately been operated upon for glaucoma still covered over– I saw Kate who has been 6 weeks in bed with eczema but is better tho still in her room– | |
