Thursday. 26th [May 1887]. No index this morning as I had to prepare my jewels & get ready in evening dress to go to Vianelli’s to be photographed. At 11 I & the girls & Gigia went off & we spent the whole morng over it only returning by lunch time. Happily the weather is still cold & we got through it very well. After lunch Miss Montalba came to see me. | |
