Friday. 27th [May 1887]. A pouring wet day & very cold. We worked at the Index early morning & afternoon. Mrs Eden came abt 4.30 & had tea & sat a long time chatting. It held up a little abt 5 & so Henry took out the 2 girls & Carry sat with me. | |
