1 July 1887 — Niederdorf
Friday. 1st July [1887]. We left Niederdorf by 11.19 train & were fortunate in having the great saloon carriage at the end of the train all to ourselves. It was a cool day & cloudy & on the top of the Brenner we had a refreshing shower. The masses of wild flowers as we went along were dazzling. We stopped nowhere long eno’ to eat so we took our lunch with us & eat en route. Got in Innspruck in time for the table d’hôte & it began to rain. Patience in the evening.
