22 July 1887 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Friday. 22nd July [1887]. Packed, went out to do some commissions. Left London by 4 oclock train from Victoria Station where Blanche met us & we went together to pay Mrs Rate a visit at Milton Court near Dorking arriving there abt 6. Mr Rate was away at Marienbad but the girls & Mrs Rate were at home. It was so hot & the country burnt quite brown. | |
