4 November 1887 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 4th November [1887]. Very dull weather again. I modelled most of the morning. The Gregorys left at 12.30 & went to Bologna on their way to Rome. Henry & Kate went out walking together. Mama & I went out for a row round St Giorgio & outside the salle of the Edens’ garden. We were going to pay the Edens a visit but found they were just starting home so we went on & came home by the Giudecca & S. Trovaso. Mrs Burr came to tea & stayed a long time chatting. Dined 7.30. Patience. | |
