Friday. 11th [November 1887]. I modelled in the morning & Mama read aloud to me the lives of the Norths. After lunch Carry Eden called. Henry took Kate, Cecil & Mama to Murano. I went on foot with Cortelazzo as far as the Brandolins to see Ninina & walked home by 5. Mr & Mrs Brown, Mrs Burr, Mr Windham (H.M. Minister in Servia) & Cortelazzo were our party at dinner. | |
