26 November 1887 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 26th [November 1887]. Modelled the whole morning until lunch. Then went out. Mrs Eden called while we were at lunch & then Mr Brown. Henry walked to Mercato’s & I went to the Grand Hotel at 3 to practise the singing for tomorrow’s service & at 4 went to join Henry & we came home. Css Canevaro & Maria Cozzi, Mme d’Adda & Mme Bisozzi came to tea. Dined upstairs. Patience in Eveng. Foggy eveng. | |
