29 November 1887 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 29th [November 1887]. Modelled all the morning. Henry & I went out to the Edens garden as it was a lovely day. We found no one there & as we were coming back across the Giudecca we met Mrs Eden going there so we turned back & went to join her & she gave me lots of chrysanthemums of wh they still have quantities. Henry & I went to Goldoni Theatre to see Novelli in “Mia moglie non ha chic!” a stupid French play. Novelli acted well. | |
