4 December 1887 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 4th December [1887]. Ola & I went to 10.30 service at the Grand Hotel & afterwards I went to see Miss Witherell & found her cousin Miss Ames still ill, but we were in by 12. Read till lunch. Went to 3 o’cl service with Ola & Henry called for us & took us to see the Edens. Home at 5. Mr Malcolm called to talk over some linen to be made with our arms at Monza– I was tired & rested & read till dinner. Patience. | |
