Sunday. 8th [January 1888]. I went to church & persuaded Ola to remain in bed which she did all day. Raymond got up in the afternoon. I went to church at 3 & then fetched Henry at Danieli’s where he had gone to see a Mr Whitely to arrange abt an Italian Exhibition in London this spring. Had tea in studio & Mme Persico & Marquese Pandolfi came. Henry went to play whist at Canevaros. I sat with Ola & then made cigarettes with Raymond. | |
