10 January 1888 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 10th [January 1888]. I stayed in bed till 11. At 12 Audrey Trevelyan came & we played the guitar till lunch. Lovely weather & Ola & I sat in the Belvedere working after lunch basking in the sun– I read a lot of Henry’s “Adventures”—worked, practised & wrote letters. Dined 7.30. Bed at 11. | |
