12 January 1888 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 12th January [1888]. Ola accompanied me to the studio to see our work but did not remain. I fetched Audrey to play the guitar & lunch with us. Went out in gondola & then Ola, Raymond & I brought out of the drawing room some furniture into the hall where the piano remained since the dance & there we had our trios. Three eldest Trevelyan girls dined with us & we then had a pleasant musical evening. | |
