Friday. 3rd [February 1888]. I was better & able to go to the Borghese Gallery with the Gregorys & Lord Selborne & Lady Sophia Palmer who are staying at our hotel & Mr & Lady Winifred Biddulph. We had a very interesting morning there. After table d’hôte lunch I went to see Lady Bagot & Lilah I went together in a cab to leave cards—& then we went to our hotel & played duetts on the guitar together. | |
