16 February 1888 — Rome | |
Thursday. 16th February [1888]. I went to bid good bye to Lady Bagot. We lunched at 11.30. Mme Minghetti & Lady Bagot came to see us off. The Gregorys also came for a moment. We left by 1– o’cl train. Lilah & Emily Maxwell came to the station to see us off. Very full train. We reached Naples abt 7 & went to Hotel Bristol. Dined & to bed. | |
