3 March 1888 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 3rd March [1888]. Ola had passed a pretty good night & Cini was satisfied when he came. At 11 the nurse went to bed & I took her place till her return but at 3 I left Annie in charge & went out. We walked to Biraghi’s & the gondola brought us home. Had tea with Henry in the studio. After dinner I went to bed as I was feeling very tired. In the night Henry felt the cold & I went to the nurse & got him some hot brandy & water. Fine. | |
