5 March 1888 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 5th [March 1888]. Henry’s birthday. Fine day. Cini was very pleased with Ola’s state today. Received some flowers fm Mr Newdigate from Rome which I arranged in Ola’s room. Wrote a lot of letters. Went out after lunch to fetch Henry & at the Piazza called on Mrs Brown who was out & came home abt 4 & sent the nurse out. Tea in the studio. Henry went to the Brandolins in the evening. I went to bed very early. | |
