16 March 1888 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Friday. 16th [March 1888]. I sat with Ola in the morng. Cini came & said she might get up tomorrow for ½ hour. Audrey Trevelyan came & played the guitar with me & stayed to lunch– Mrs Brown called after lunch & I took her in to see Ola for a few minutes. Henry went out to Guggenheims. I went to Rietti & then joined him at Rischetti where we saw some old cards to write to my mother about. Went to the Piazza. Home to tea. Dined along. Patience. | |
