Friday. 6th April [1888]. Alice took Ola out in the morning. Mrs Sandford & the Bishop came to luncheon & afterwards I went out with them to show them the room lent us for service by the Venezia & Murano Co. Beatrice & Pauline Trevelyan dined with us & they played their grand Rubinstein trio with Profr Dini & Mrs Brown, Mme Pilat, Marzials & Mr Sillence came. Ola was carried down into the dining room & heard the music from there. Sir Arthur & Mr Gordon dined at Malcolm & did not come to the music. | |
