23 May 1888 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Wednesday. 23rd [May 1888]. I rushed off in the morng for my guitar lesson & then went on to Blanche & superintended Vittorio’s giving a lace lesson to Fraulein Ludwig. Kate & I drove in the afternoon. Henry & I dined with Mr & Mrs Hardwick. He took me down & Mr Thesiger sat at my left– Rather dull dinner, very large party. An American sang very well in the evening. | |
