3 July 1888 — Syltebo, Romsdalsfjord | |
Tuesday. 3rd July [1888]. I fished after breakfast from bridge 0. At 2 went on Fjord with Rayd & Dahl 0. Weather bright again. Dinner at 5. Rayd & I went on Fjord at 8 with Marquis. I killed 1 trout 2 lbs & cod 7½. At 9 went on bridge. Rose a fish. Henry killed 2 salmon 1 of 30 lbs & one of 31½ lbs. Fred got nothing. All this time Leo could not fish owing to having a boil on each wrist. Berret came to see me & I wrote to Monty for her to say she has not been paid for 2 years. | |
