5 July 1888 — Syltebo, Romsdalsfjord | |
Thursday. 5th [July 1888]. Not a good night & so stayed in bed until 2 o’cl. Read in bed. Took a stroll with Henry to the bridge about 3 & tried for a fish without result. Practised guitar in my room. Dinner at 5. Guitar again– Abt 6 we all went out fishing that is Henry, Rayd & I fished from bridge 0. It rained hard. Henry killed a grilse. Rayd came in at 4.30 A.M. with 3 salmon & 2 trout. Bad night again. | |
