22 August 1888 — Syltebo, Romsdalsfjord | |
Wednesday. 22nd [August 1888]. Alas! our day of departure arrived. Packed & finished up fishing lists & at 12 drove off to Nöste to wait for the steamer. The carrioles & river boats were put away in the boat house before we left in the post boat “Molde.” It was a sunless day but not cold. We reached Molde about 7. V. Consul Dahl met us. We went to Hotel Alexandra kept by good Mr Hannwold & found capital rooms ready for us & our supper. Played patience till bed time. | |
