23 September 1888 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Sunday. 23rd September [1888]. I took Emilia off to morning service at Westr Abbey. We were rather late as the service begins at 10 & we did not know it. We came out before the sermon. After lunch we went to the Zoos to spend a couple of hours & there met Mme de Roubilant & her 2 girls & son, the family of the new Italian Ambr in England. Mama dined with us & Sir F. Burton. | |
