29 September 1888 — Domodossola | |
Saturday. 29th September [1888]. Left Domo at 8 & drove to Baveno. The weather was less brilliant but as we were in the plain we were not sorry that the sun was not quite so hot. Reached Hotel Bellevue at Baveno abt 1.30 just in time for table d’hôte lunch. Ola & I unpacked & rested in the afternoon. Henry & Nela went up to Villa Clara to call on the Henfreys. Dined at table d’hôte. Patience. | |
