8 November 1888 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 8th [November 1888]. Nela & I painted at the piece of “Still life.” After lunch Henry took Ola to the Edens garden to get me flowers & then went to Mrs Brown’s to tea. Nela & I walked there to meet them. Henry walked home & I brought the 3 girls home in gondola. Mr & Mrs Curtis, Mr & Mrs Symonds, Mr Brown & Mr Malcolm dined with us & we had people in the evening to tea. | |
