11 November 1888 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 11th [November 1888]. To morning service with the girls. After lunch the latter went to the Lido with Henry & Annie the cook & I walked to afternoon service. Met Mrs Brown coming out, she walked home with us & stayed to tea & we sent her later home in the gondola. Css Canevaro & Maria came to tea & also Sir Villiers & Lady Lister who are come to Venice for a few days. Mrs Burr dined with us. | |
