13 November 1888 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 13th November [1888]. I painted. Ola & Nela walked out with Gigia & Mr Brown took them & the Symonds girls to see the Marionettes behind the scenes all hanging of a row by their heads. It was a cold day & a few snow flakes fell. Mrs Burr came to luncheon to take leave of us as she starts for England tomorrow. Henry & I went out together & took a walk in the Piazza, there we met the Listers & walked with them. Henry & I & Miss de B. dined with Mrs Bronson. Edith came to high tea with Ola & Nela & they joined the Symonds & Browns at the Marionettes & went on to supper with Mrs Brown & came home after us. | |
