21 November 1888 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 21st [November 1888]. There was a thick fog which lifted after lunch. I painted till 12 when Edith Bronson came & we played the guitar till lunch. Henry & Nela went with Mr & Miss Childe Pemberton to Murano to see the glass blowing. Ola & I took a walk & called on Mme Canevaro whom we found at home. Col. Goff & Mr Norman came to tea with us. Henry & I dined with Mrs Bronson. Ola & Nela came in the evening & there were several other people. | |
