22 November 1888 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 22nd [November 1888]. I had rather a headache so did nothing much beyond working while Ola read aloud. After lunch Henry went out with the girls. At 4 I started out in gondola, left some cards & then fetched them at the Piazza brought Henry home & went out to a tea party at the Pss of Montenegro where met the Symonds girls, Mr Mimaut & his mother in law & Mrs Hulton. | |
