I went out in gondola & left cards & paid visits, only finding Mrs Hulton at home & came home to tea. Baron Warsberg & his brother came to call & to tell me that the lady who would do the honors of his house was an old Mlle de Mysenberg a great friend of Mme Minghetti & the Dss de Cafaro also came grandly got up in a large bonnet wh crushed her small person but she was very nice & friendly. Mme Barozzi also came– Later Mr & Mrs DuGué & Signor Ferazzi the artist. We dined alone & had a quiet evening.
