2 December 1888 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 2nd December [1888]. Advent Sunday. Went with the girls & Bessie to the morning service. Brought back Mrs Brown to lunch. Ola walked to church with Annie Carter. I took Mrs Brown. Count Tiepolo the new Sindaco called & came in just before we started. A very pleasant man. After service Ola & I went in gondola & met Henry & Nela & we went to call on the Edens, then home to tea. Dined at 7.30. | |
