Tuesday. 11th [December 1888]. I woke with a bad headache & remained in bed all day. Maria Cozzi came to see me after 5. Henry took the girls to the Malibran to see Strauss’s operetta Una Notte in Venezia. Called in Cini who prescribed for my nerves the new fashionable medicine antiperine. | |
