Saturday. 5th January [1889]. I set to work to build up the clay to begin to make a bust of Ola in the character of Portia & that took me till lunch time. After lunch the girls went to play lawn tennis & I went out with Henry & I left him in the Piazza & went to call on Mme Noce at the Arsenal & joined him later. | |
