9 April 1889 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Tuesday. 9th April [1889]. Pouring wet day. Wrote letters & began a design for a Jubilee fan. lunched at 2 & then drove with Henry to Christie’s to see the water colours again, met Ola there & took her driving with me but it was so wet we did not stay out long. Blanche came to tea with me & afterwards I went in the rain to see Mama & try to get more designs for the fan. Señor Albareda (Spanish Ambr) & Sir Collingwood Dickson, Mama & Lord Bertie & Nela Du Cane dined with us. | |
