Sunday. 14th April [1889]. Sir James Paget met Mr Fuller in consultation at 11 A.M. The latter confirmed Burton’s opinion that an operation was necessary & the sooner the better. Fuller promised to make arrangements for Tuesday. I went to Vere St Church with Blanche & Edward. Lord Savile called to see us in the afternoon—but I fear I was not very cheerful company. We dined at 25 Park Crest & Mama also dined there. | |
