3 November 1889 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 3rd November [1889]. Up early. We all went to church Henry & the girls & I in the morning & in afternoon Ola, Eda & I again & then fetched home Henry & Nela who were walking on the Piazza. Mr Truscott an artist called & Miss Henriette & Hilda Montalba the latter we took up to the studio & they remained talking till quite late and I had only abt ½ hour for reading aloud. Mr Malcolm dined with us—“patience” in eveng. | |
