4 November 1889 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 4th November [1889]. Up early. Gave Nela painting lesson. Modelled. After lunch we all went out in gondola to the Edens’ garden & got flowers & sat out with them & had tea. Fine day a little sunshine & cessation of that dismal rain. Read to Henry from 5 till dinner. Patiences. | |
