6 November 1889 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 6th November [1889]. Nela & Eda went out in steam launch with Mr Eden. I painted & wrote & modelled all morng & went on modelling again for a couple of hours after lunch till Miss Frere came to call. It was a dull day & raining every now & then. Henry took the girls to Murano. After 7 I read aloud to Henry, practised the guitar– Evening patience. | |
