17 November 1889 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 17th [November 1889]. Went to Church with the girls in morning. Wrote letters till lunch– Walked to church accompanied by Sir Fred: at 3– Henry took Nela & Eda to Armenian convent. I walked back from church with Ola & we stopped at the Rezzonico & paid Mrs Browning a visit still in bed & Miss Browning sitting with her. Her husband & Miss Barclay joined us. Home to tea & read to Henry. Patience. | |
