23 December 1889 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 23rd December [1889]. Returned to the work of making the costumes & worked dilligently till luncheon. Mr Jameson came & finished the stage & Mr Woods came to bring the scenes he has painted—a lovely wood scene & a kitchen. Olga & Idita came to tea with me. The girls had tea in their room– Mr Jameson & Woods dined with us & Mr Fisher came & we rehearsed in eveng. | |
