4 January 1890 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 4th [January 1890]. Arranged a white shawl into an opera cloak for Nela. Ola & Nela went to the church practise. Modelled from 12 till lunch– The sun came out abt 12 & it was warmer & quite spring like. Nela & I joined Henry on Piazza & took a turn up & down & then went paying more visits but found no one at home. Mme Noce & Miss Lawley & Miss Carden came to tea. Eda had a headache & fever & had to go to bed directly after dinner– Patience. | |
