31 March 1890 — Paris | |
Monday. 31st March [1890]. Arrived in Paris at 6.30– Fine day & met by Belard & went to Hotel St Romain. Had breakfast; I to bed. Henry had a face ache wh got worse as the day went on—neither he nor I went out. Maria & Virginia came to see us at 10—they are staying with Dacre. Henry got so bad we had to foment his face with poppy heads– Maria & Virgie & Dacre dined & they all went to the Play– Henry early to bed with fever– | |
