16 April 1890 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Wednesday. 16th April [1890]. This day last year I had the operation & have narrowly escaped having one this year. Breakfasted in bed. A long visit from Mrs Kay. Henry went to lunch in the city. Connie came to see me. Lady Galway came also to try & get us to dinner– I drove with Ola & went to see Lady Lindsay & sat some time with her & promised to go & dine with her. Home to tea– Practised guitar—rested– We dined at 41 Hans Place & met Mrs Eliot Yorke, Mr Ralli & Mr Hallé—a very pleasant little dinner. Home early. | |
