2 May 1890 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Friday. 2nd [May 1890]. Got up abt 11 & went to see Mr Smith. He thought there was a slight improvement– When he saw my swelled & rheumatic finger joints he advised me to go & consult Sir Alfred Garrod & gave me a letter for him. Henry went to the Private View of the Grosvenor Gallery wh he pronounces very bad this year. After lunch Maria, Ola & I went to Private view of R. Academy. Henry was too tired to come. Not a very good Exhibition– Not over crowded with people. | |
