5 July 1890 — Park Gate House, Ham, Surrey | |
Saturday. 5th [July 1890]. It poured all last night & all this morning—read to Ola & practised guitar. It cleared abt 4 so Henry & I went for a drive in the park & round by Robin Hood Gate thro’ Coombe & back to Ham. Had tea under the verandah, then it rained again & we had to come in. Dinner at 8. Patience. | |
