9 July 1890 — Park Gate House, Ham, Surrey | |
Wednesday. 9th [July 1890]. Pouring wet again. Lunched at 1.30 & at 3 set off for London in the carriage. It cleared a little. We got home in 1¼ hour. Had tea. Maria came to tea & some of her girls. Eda Alderson arrived from Holdenby to stay with us. I went to bed before dinner being rather tired. Ola & Nela came & sat with me in evening. Henry dined with Sir F. Leighton. | |
