20 July 1890 — Motcombe House, nr. Shaftesbury, Dorset | |
Sunday. 20th [July 1890]. Lovely day. Breakfast in bed– Sat in study & read while Henry wrote. After lunch took a walk in garden together. Tea at 5. Walked to eveng service with Merthyr & Theo. Excellent sermon by Mr Smith. Dined late. Bed early. | |
