30 August 1890 — Baveno | |
Saturday. 30th [August 1890]. A fine day—but showery. I read aloud in the morning to Henry– Worked—wrote letters. Lunch 1.30. Took a little turn with H in the garden & he sat out a little while I came in & wrote letters—& amongst them to Sir H. Thompson. Played patience. Dined 7.30. | |
